When rope becomes language: simple floor ties, focused entirely on perception and shared flow.
What to expect
- You communicate without words, through rope, touch and timing.
- Japanese concepts such as ma-ai, sabaku and ki give you the background.
- You experience the step from tying a technique to consciously tying a person.
Good to know
- Who it is for
- Rope couples from beginners with basic skills to advanced. Couples only.
- Bring along
- 1 rope of 8 m and ideally a mat (e.g. a yoga mat). No rope of your own? Let us know when booking and we will bring a loan rope.
- Clothing
- Shibarite: comfortable sportswear; Ukete: comfortable, close-fitting sportswear (no underwire bra)
- On site
- You do not need a fair ticket for the workshop. Admission is 15 minutes before the start. The workshop rooms are in the building opposite the exhibition hall, reached via a covered walkway. The workshop is taught in German.
