Shibari workshop TK Alternatives at WolfRope

Shibari Workshop “TK Alternatives”

Relief for the shoulders. In this 6-hour workshop, we work intensively on suspension-capable alternatives to Takate Kote and Gote that put less strain on the shoulders. The focus is on aesthetic and functional upper body ties that offer Ukete comfort and safety even in longer suspensions.

What to expect

  • Anatomical adjustments: We look in detail at Ukete’s individual anatomy and learn to design upper body ties that relieve the shoulders while remaining stable.
  • Technical execution: step by step to suspension-capable TK and Gote alternatives that convince both technically and visually.
  • Body mechanics and body handling: You will learn to position Ukete efficiently and integrate movement harmoniously.
  • Suspension inspiration: Building on the ties you have learned, we work out different ways to integrate them into suspensions – with a focus on aesthetics, safety and dynamics.

What you take home

At the end of the day, you take home a set of suspension-capable upper body ties, a deeper understanding of Ukete’s anatomical and mechanical requirements and new ideas to take your suspensions to a new level, technically and visually.

Who it is for

Tying couples at intermediate or advanced level who want to expand their repertoire with suspension-capable alternatives to the classic TK/Gote. The workshop is ideal if Ukete does not tolerate the shoulder strain of a TK well, if you are planning longer suspensions or if you are looking for new upper body ties that carry securely and look and feel different. It can only be booked as a couple.
